No matter the size or type of combine, the crop or harvesting condition, there's only one combine pick-up to buy. Pick up a Rake-Up.

Rake-Up is the first completely redesigned combine pick-up in more than 50 years. Isn't it about time that someone built a pick-up which matches the capabilities of today's large capacity combines? Modern combines harvest much more than grain. If you are harvesting crops like beans, peas, lentils, canola, grass seed, and flower seed, it's not enough to just consider your combine’s ability. You have to think about what's up front. Rake-up won't let you down -- even when faced with unexpected harvesting problems.

Rake-up is designed for use in any kind of crop, and works especially well in many hard-to-pick specialty crops such as canola, lentils, grass seed, peas and beans.

Canola
Independent tests show that Rake-Up has less shatter loss than competitive brands. The windguard doesn't have to be removed, since it moves easily out of the way. Rake-Up picks apart piles and won't plug the combine.

Grains
Rake-Up works exceptionally well in short, rained down or sprouted crops. Even if the swath is light, or lying in the direction of travel, Rake-Up will pick a lot of crop other pick-ups leave behind. Even in heavy crops, Rake-Up's positive drive doesn't slip in lodged or tangled crop, unlike conventional pick-ups which comb through the swath and leave strips of grain behind on the ground. Rake-Up makes a clean sweep of the field. Some brewing companies now recommend that their growers use a Rake-Up to pick their malt barley.

Lentils
The exclusive spring wire hold down stops windrows from rolling. Rake-Up is very gentle eliminating shatter loss and because of its gentleness, it's capable of traveling at faster ground speeds. With high ground speeds Rake-Up covers the acres fast.

Fine Seeds.
Rake-Up has a considerable success with difficult-to-pick crops such as flower, vegetable, and grass seeds. Fine seeds like grass, carrot or sugar beet seeds, to name a few, pose no problem for the Rake-Up. The slow rotation and positive feed is a big advantage in harvesting these crops yet Rake-Up still has the positive drive to pick crops laying down in furrows or handle re-growth in the case of grass seed. One onion seed grower in Moses Lake, Washington claimed he lost so much crop making one pass through his field with a competitive pick-up that, head he been using a Rake-Up, it would have paid for itself in that job alone. He promptly borrowed a neighbor's Rake-Up to finish the rest of his harvest, and then invested in a Rake-Up of his own. The seed cop special kit, which is available for fine seed producers, consists of a solid one-piece draper belt in place of the individual drapers and a cleated extended finger bar flap to further reduce seed loss.

Peas
Field peas have become a popular crop in the last few years. Our improved pea coulters cut off the vines, allowing you to travel in both directions when direct-picking field peas. Rake-Up is one of the few pick-ups that will do a good job of picking peas directly out of the field without swathing. Some farmers purchase our 14' or 16' model and use it for their peas as well as for their cereal grain and pulse crops.

Beans
With our new design made specifically for harvesting beans, Rake-Up is the ideal choice for bean growers. It is available as a single unit for picking up windrows. Rake-up gently lifts your crop, thereby reducing shatter or pod loss. In addition, the fully-adjustable windguard helps to eliminate row rolling. Extra beans means more money in your bank account.
