This isn't just another pick-up with teeth bolted on belts. Rake-Up is the only combine pick-up with a sideways picking action. Teeth mounted on tough aluminum extruded finger bars work at an angle, like a side-delivery rake laid down. The teeth wipe off parallel to the draper belts, and since the belts travel faster than the finger bars, back feeding will never be a problem. A series of gear boxes and cams give Rake-Up its positive picking action. The result is a positive drive pick-up. While the combing action of the other machines can't get all of your crop, the sideways action of a Rake-Up ensures that no crop is left untouched.

Built to Pick More
This revolutionary new design is built to provide superb performance -- no matter what the crop condition. Rake-up handles difficult harvests like short, rained down or sprouted crops with such ease that it could pay for itself in the first year of use. More grain in your combine means more money in your pocket. Even if the swath is light or lying in the direction of travel, Rake-Up will harvest a lot of crop that conventional pick-ups leave behind. While conventional pick-ups comb through the swath and leave strips of grain on the ground, Rake-Up's sideways sweeping motion has better coverage and makes a clean sweep of the field.

Built To Be Gentle On Specialty Crops
While the teeth on other combine pickups speed up at the point of crop engagement, Rake-Up's teeth actually slow down to provide a gentle picking movement. There's no gap between the pick-up and the draper belts, so any shatter that does occur will be carried into the header on the cleated rubber draper belts. Since the positive picking action is better, the Rake-Up can run much slower than the speed of other machines.
Built To Leave Stones Behind
Rake-Up's slow and gentle picking action means it doesn't have to dig into the ground to pick a swath, even if the swath is lying flat on the ground. A slower pick-up speed reduces the amount of stones that are flipped into the swath, so Rake-Up can pick up more of what you want and leave behind more of what you don't want.
Built For Rough Rolling Ground
Rake-Up's extra long frame design allows it to ride better in the field. The main frame is designed to allow approximately 10" of flex, so Rake-Up works well in rolling conditions. One wheel can come up a long way before the other wheel will leave the ground. When mounted on the header, Rake-Up is supported by two large counter-balancing springs. The springs have been adjusted so that there is only 40 or 50 pounds of weight on the wheels. The light front end weight allows the pick-up to float freely over most obstacles, and helps eliminate damage to the pick-up or header in extremely stony rough conditions. Shock absorbers are included in the Ultrafloat suspension to prevent any bounce which might occur due to the light front end weight. The shock absorbers allow for faster transportation speed with almost perfect floatation.
Built To Last
Rake-Up is made of the finest quality materials, featuring longer-wearing parts with lower service and maintenance requirements. Roller shafts and bearings are 1 ¼", while the turning points are double-100% grease-filled ball bearings. The result is a sturdy, quiet running pick-up.

Exclusive Hydraulic Hold Down and Windguard
Our exclusive spring wire hold-down and windguard are specially designed for use in short or hard-to-pick crops such as canola, barley, lentils, beans, millet and other crops that tend to roll ahead of your pick-up. With a high-risk crop, you want to make sure you get it all the first time. By adjusting the wires so that they clear the swath, you prevent the swath from rolling or being kicked out in front. The hydraulic hold-down is fully adjustable from within the combine cab and can be used for any crop condition.
"Sabre Tooth"
Our "Sabre Tooth" is made of high-quality plastic unlike many other pick-up fingers on the market today. It is larger, wider and heavier than regular plastic fingers. The distance between the teeth is the same as the tooth length, giving them even spacing as they sweep the ground.
